It seems that I've managed to find a place to start working. Though I'm not certain how useful weapons will be in a place such as this; however the forge is in good condition and the materials will be useful.

It seems that there are even more vampires now, yet still no mention of Viktor or the death dealers. I wouldn't have expected a coven of any size to have existed outside of their houses. But it doesn't matter so long as they allow me to continue to live freely. These last months have been enjoyable, no longer caught up in his war. The masquerade was entertaining as well. I enjoyed the dance with the few of you who I had the opportunity to. Thank you for inviting me Alice.

*Lucian's voice is light, almost filled with laughter and a somewhat aloof feeling as if thinking back to another time*

A masquerade, is rather reminiscent me of another time. . .another age.

It would seem that since attendance is mandatory that I’ll need to pick up some new clothing. Something like this makes this place seem so . . . peaceful. Behind a mask we all have our own identity but none of the shackles that come with our image or name should you hold your tongue.

*Lucian can be seen with his back to the device, though from his trench coat extend two huge black leathery wings which span out to a width of ten feet when stretched. His dark hair is bairly touching their base in the middle of his back between the shoulder blades, as he leans his head back and takes in a deep breath. *

Is this what it would have been like had I succeeded, faster and stronger than even before, though plagued by their thirst as well. This is what Viktor feared so much that he killed his own daughter, that which he sought to slaughter a whole species to avoid?

*In the distance the rustling of brush can be heard, as well as low moan as if taking their final breaths. The sounds are presumably one of the monsters dwelling in the forest, emerging as the sun sets. As Lucian turns to retrieve the device, it can barely been seen that there is a small trail of blood dripping from his mouth across a bare chest as it’s revealed that he is shirtless under the jacket and even his chest is covered with blood. The last thing that the camera catches before being turned off is the sight of the charm hanging around Lucian’s neck along with that of blood.*

*Lucians voice is low, almost methodic. There’s no sound of anger, none of enjoyment, rather it seems detached somewhat emotionless.*
It seems that even in a place such as this conflict and difference will lead to savage acts. But I suppose that despite its appearance this place is like any other. I fear though that it will be as others have already mentioned, there will divisions to rise leading further and further down this road. Human’s seem predisposed to such acts, as much so as the vampires and any the other immortals as well.

However, this will not be my fight.
*The transmission is cut off abruptly, static only lasting for a fraction of a second after he is done speaking*

*It's obvious that the device has been turned on accidentally, however the voice of ten year old is clearly able to be heard. In it there is a certain hesitation and uncertainty.*

My collar has been removed. Does this mean that I've been released from their service?
*there is a slight snarl and the sound of a creature walking through the woods*
Or perhaps I've been left out here to die.

*a popping sound can be heard followed by another snarl before the device is cut off*
